It’s been a long time since my last post, mainly due to the fact that I hadn’t found anything which inspired me to take photos until last weekend. I may post some shots of my visit to Newcastle in the next few days but in this post I will show some abstract shots which I took yesterday while out for a walk with the family.

I take my camera out with me pretty much wherever we go just in case I see something worth taking a picture of, recently I have often come back empty handed. I didn’t have high hopes yesterday either since it was a very gloomy late winter afternoon however as soon as we came across these park benches I knew they would make interesting shots.

I can’t imagine that these park benches are very practical or comfortable but they are very stylish – good for photographers, bad for people who want to sit down.

Hopefully I will continue to find things which inspire me and so the gap between posts on this blog won’t be so long next time. Thanks for looking!
